A practical overview of how the public tools and account app handle information.

Demo and calculator

The demo uses sample expenses. Its entries remain in the current page and do not become real account transactions. The calculator processes amounts in your browser without sending them to the account service. Downloaded CSV files contain the amounts you entered. The copy-link button excludes those amounts.

Visits, optional analytics and sharing

We use Vercel Web Analytics for basic cookieless visit counts. Page addresses are limited to known SpendNests pages and stripped of query strings before being sent. When optional Google Analytics is enabled, it runs only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures actions such as demo use, calculator use, sign-ups and sharing; expense amounts, notes, names and email addresses are not sent in these events. Advertising features are disabled. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control turn these analytics off.

Sharing works without analytics consent. Invite links contain only a campaign label, never financial information or an account identifier. For consenting visitors, we keep the referral label and sharing-prompt variant in session storage so we can compare outcomes during that browser session. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer.

Your SpendNests account

The account app uses Google Firebase for authentication and stored records. Information can include your profile, manually entered expenses, budgets, preferences and household member records. The app also uses browser storage. The account app's Privacy Policy describes its data collection and use.

Access and exports

Household accounts are managed through the existing family features. Review who has access before entering shared financial information. You can export expense records from History. Exporting creates a copy; it does not remove the stored records.

Questions or deletion requests

Use Support in the app to ask about your account data or request deletion. Do not include passwords, bank credentials or unnecessary financial details in feedback.

This overview does not replace the existing account Privacy Policy or Terms. Both are accessible from the app's sign-in screen.
