Household budget calculator
Plan your month in Singapore dollars. See what remains after everyday expenses and your planned savings.
Free to use · No account needed · Amounts stay in this page and are not sent to SpendNests. Refreshing resets them.
The shared link never includes your amounts. The CSV contains your plan; keep it somewhere private.
How the calculator works
Remaining amount = take-home household income − housing − food − transport − family costs − other spending − planned savings. All amounts are monthly. Divide annual bills by 12 when setting a monthly allowance.
A negative result means the planned outgoings exceed the income you entered. Review the categories or savings goal until the plan is workable. A positive amount is unallocated money, not a guarantee of savings.
What should I include?
Use the income available to spend after deductions. Include repayments and recurring bills once, and avoid double-counting transfers between household members. The tool does not calculate tax, CPF, interest or investment returns.
